Cedric Hunter is a visual artist, and lyricist, hailing from South Carolina. He is also the published author of the sci-fi novella, Year Minus. Chapter 04 Firebird Mother
Ash and I met at Lighting in a Bottle Music and Arts festival many moons ago. Ash is a multifaceted person. She is a dancer, painter, writer, fashionista, jet setter among other things. She also holds a wide knowledge on wellness, healing, and mental health.

Jesse Torrey is an artist, philosopher, wizard, swordsman and grappler.

Sergio Navarro-Duran is an illustrator, painter, and muralist living in San Francisco.

Chapter 13 Approaching Epiphany
On the outskirts of the famed Caribbean Sea is the gateway leading to the North Atlantic Ocean wilderness. It’s called Barbados and that’s where Kevin Padmore has spun his tale. AKA Black Cousteau … Kevin is part fish and all photographer. He is a steward of the ocean, a firefighter, and an extremely interesting person.

Joel Green is a 3D artist with a background in furniture design. In Portland, Maine he designs and constructs furniture through East Crow Design Company. His recent work utilizes copper printing. Readers may recognize him from the book as one of the members of D, an art collective from my days at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Joel and I got our first apartment together in Savannah.

Brian Oniel is straight outta Ireland. He's not artist. But he makes a mean hot sauce called Scarlet for Yer Ma. I will never be able to spell his last name correctly.

Theo Bondeaux is a Head of Cinematography at DreamWorks Animation. His credits include The Bad Guys 2 , Trolls 3 and Boss Baby 2. Theo is an avid rock climber, skateboarder, photographer, and a very good friend of mine.

Chapter 05 The Fun in Funeral
Robert Eujean Ogden is from the haunted cornfield mazes of the Ohio landscape. He is an author, musician, videographer, ex-movie studio rat.

Nicole Ugay is a painter designer working in LA.

Doug Landry is a tattoo artist and painter living in Portland, ME. He has recently opened his new tattoo shop in the historical district of Portland, ME called Off Hand Tattoos.

Chapter 32 - Where a Tiny Spark Still Burns
Cat Fox is an US Olympic gold medalist, fitness instructor, deep diver, painter, and above all, a mother of two. Cat is also the model for the photograph from Chapter 12 - Lovesick where she dove to the bottom of ocean off the islands of Barbados to capture the photograph for the book with aquatic photographer Kevin Padmore, aka Black Cousteau.

Chapter 03 The Night the Stars Fell
Harold Hensley is a musician living in my hometown of Germantown, OH. His folk albums have created quite the buzz. He has headlined festivals and he tours his music regularly as a solo artist. He has also performed in a variety of bands over the years. Including our first imaginary band that we formed in the 3rd grade called Silent Dragons. Chapter 06 Donning the Mask
Davi Anybayn is an artist, web designer, and musician living in LA. He is currently producing music under the moniker Anubayn.

Steve Gendron is an illustrator and street artist under the moniker Crooked Streetart

Chapter 12 Lovesick
Max Maleo is an art director, storyteller, painter, musician, and fun loving father. He lives and works in Paris, France. Max and I became very close while working at DreamWorks Animation together. As love often does, his dedication to his wife Vanessa called him back to Paris where they live the very coolest life one can imagine. In his spare time Max focuses on his music as he constructs his mission control modular synthesizer. He is now an art director and story writer working on various feature films. There is no end to his creativity, nor to his devotion to those he loves. Somehow through all of this Max has nurtured his inner child and remains a free spirited, rasta monkey-style humanoid.

Susan Olsen is a painter and conscientious eater.

Scott Singer is visual artist and filmmaker. Once a coworker of Robert Eujean Ogden at DreamWorks Animation he now focuses on his wood block prints in Chicago.

Chapter 30 - The Needling
Damon Mueli aka DMON aka Obsidian Tattoos aka The Architect is another multifaceted artist who contributed artwork for Eclipse of the Mourning Star. He is perhaps most known as a master of the tattoo gun. You can find out for yourself by following him on Instagram at DMONTATTOO. I have two pieces from Damon and those who know the art-form always stop to ask me about them. My first close encounter with Damon was something sacred to me. Enough so, to be described in detail as something of a parallel plot climax in Eclipse of the Mourning Star. Damon bounces back and forth from New Zealand to the United States where he has been hustling his buttocks off to support his daughter back in New Zealand.
