LEVEL 33 Episode 07 presents the artist for Chapter 12 Lovesick. From the Ivory Coast to the City of Light Max Maleo has crossed continents and surfed oceans for love. He is a director of animated motion pictures currently directing the French TV series Angelo Rules. Throughout life Max has nurtured his inner child. He remains a free spirited, rasta, monkey-style humanoid. In this episode we discuss the inspirations behind his piece for Eclipse of the Mourning Star and the unexpected benefits of creating during turbulence. We also left a little room for a whole lotta love.
Episode 06 of LEVEL 33 features the artist for Chapter 30 - The Needling. Damon Meuli @dmontattoos is most known as a master of the tattoo gun. My first encounter with him was sacred to me. Enough so, to be described in detail in a parallel-plot climax in Eclipse of the Mourning Star. He bounces back and forth from New Zealand to the States where he hustles to support his daughter. He is one I look up to in every aspect of life. I am very grateful that he took time to share a shard of his knowledge on the show.

Cat is also the model for the photograph in Chapter 9 - Lovesick. She is a fitness instructor, free diver, artist, and mother of two.
